Thank you very much Dan. I am going to use a variation of this for a intro to the Save America Foundation. It is pro-bono free work that I do sometimes for them. Your tutorial higlighted better than Andrews the importance of Pre-Comps. I have the book from Chris and Trish Myers “Creating Motion graphics with After Effects CS5″ but I haven’t gone over it much about pre-comps.
