Covers the basics of creating a 3D scene in After Effects.
Dan thank you so so so so much for all your tutorials! I check out your videos ALL the time for inspiration. I watch how you do things & try to figure it out. The tutorials give me an inside look at some of them.. thanks again bro; keep it up!
Thanks these tutorials are awesome. Quick question…around the 7 minute mark where you start to push the camera through the scene…I have everything aligned just as you do (Z axis starting at -622.2) and the camera starts pushing through like yours does but when my Z axis gets to 0, the camera starts backing up whereas yours keeps pushing through until you end at +561.8. I’m guessing there is some sort of setting that needs to be tweaked but I’m not sure where or what it is. Thanks in advance for your help!
Right click on your camera in your timeline, go to transform, auto-orient, and then set it to off. That should solve your problem.
I was searching this tutorial for quite some time finally i got you thanks man i followed your tutorial able to do my own project thanks again man. i hope you got more tutorial going to watch it.

Hi, Dan… keep up this way of sharing.God bless brother.
Hey awesome tutorial Dan!
After effects can handle 3D decently, but have you tried other 3D plug ins for after effects?
I’ve heard of Zaxwerks ProAnimator and Element 3D so far.
I prefer to do 3D in Cinema 4D, Element and Zax are very limited.
I must say that you are gifted, and a blessing….
your work is awesome….
keep the good work
